627 Squadron Monthly Practice Bombing Trophy

This Trophy of four tier timber construction surmounted by a practice bomb, all painted black, and with the names of the monthly winners inscribed on the light alloy plates on the plinth, is currently in the custody of The Mosquito Museum, Salisbury Hall, London Colney, Herts, where it is on display withing the Major Halford Collection.

The Trophy was initiated at Woodall Spa in August 1944 in furtherance of the technique of low level dive-bombing marking and the winners are posted below.
